hi there, there is something wrong with the pip system , 6 pips times 80 plus 225 per pip damage should give me 1830 damage plus 30% blade of 549 which total gives 2379 but only gives 1692 , so either i am bad in math or as the bosses cheat so you cheat with the pips aswell which makes the game not fun to play.

I'm unsure how you got 1830 damage? I don't think you fully understand how the system works. Damage is calculated by first calculating the total damage the card gives, multiplying it by the percent boost your stats give, multiplying it by an aura you may have, multiplying blade boosts, and then traps finally.

So using your current information:

(6 x 80) + 225 = 705 (This is the original card damage plus the addition of Gargantuan)
(705 x 1.3) = 916.5. (I multiplied by the boost that the blade gives)

I don't know what your character stats are, so I didn't include them in, but the system is working completely fine.

If you are talking about judgement and enchant, it is only +225, not +225 per pip.

No the Sun school spell is not per pip. It is just base damage added on. So 6x80+250. Not 6x80+ 6x250. Does that make sense?

hi i read the responses, thank you but i still dont agree with you, its 80 damage per pip plus 225 damage per spell, equals 310,

i not sure how your calculation works but clearly there is confusion

80+225 = 305...

I did my original math based on the fact that you said you had 6 pips. In what you just said, I'm assuming you did math based on only having one pip?

maybe take another look at the responses? (all are experienced players trying to help you out ).

I think you are confused on how Enchants work with 'X' spells?

exp613 explained it best - enchanting an 'X' spell does not add to each pip. it adds the extra 225 (just Once) on top of what you are casting.

and yes, if you cast an 'x' spell with one pip@80 damage plus the 225 enchant, that would equal 310.

Keep in mind certain mobs/bosses have high resist, maybe that is why your numbers aren't adding up for you?
