are you and your sibling sharing an account? do you have separate accounts that are part of the same account family?
if you have a credit card, you can purchase crowns or a membership with a valid credit card to verify your age. then, go to parental controls>open text>on (click the box and a green checkmark will appear).
if your accounts are part of the same family, the parent account can change chat privileges for you (while still leaving your younger sibling with age-appropriate options).
as with any privileges afforded to us adults by virtue of age, please use open chat responsibly.
