After recently talking to a few members of the Wizard101 community it has become obvious this game has a severely loyal player base and will probably stick with the Kingsisle company even if a new expansion isnt released for a long time. Though this time without an expansion has given a few of us some ideas for stuff that we would love to have added or at least considered!
-Cosmetic Dungeons: Dungeons that are meant to drop gear for looks only, easy and quick to run. No cheating bosses, just something that people can farm for and continue getting the "Grind" that leveling brings.
-The use of Celestias Star-Moon-and Sun as a "faction". You can do quests with other faction members to earn points for your faction and at a certain rank you gain items like the ability to have the star, moon or sun float around your weapon. Or a mount that is faction specific.
-A questline were you have to go back to old expansions and help out with whatever they need, for this you recieve a currency that can be exchanged for more cosmetic items. (Mounts, special outfits, a pet that allows you to "stitch" so you no longer have to use a regular pet simply because it has the best stats)
-A guild system that you can only join and create at max level. You gain points through facing other guilds in pvp and at the end of each week, the guild with the most points has their symbol placed in the commons and recieve a temporary title called "Rank 1" or something similar to keep players active once they reach max level.
-A wild card pvp system. When playing the game you see many powerful beings that strike you with envy as they use spells that you've never seen. Perhaps playing these characters in pvp with a random deck set up would be entertaining and a new way to enjoy a pvp system that has remained pretty unchanging despite the new nerf to critical.
-Solo dungeons where you have 15 minute timer to get as far as you can into the dungeon and compete against other wizards for the best time.
-A friendship questline. As an Mmo that focuses on the social aspect it would be great to be able to quest with a friend on a special friend specific line that grants a title and special emotes people can only use when the friend is with them.
-A questline where we must team up with Morganthe to defeat a titan that has escaped from beneath Grizzleheim and only the cooperation with the evil lady could put him back. (Obviously this would have to benefit her, an uneasy alliance has always seemed like an interesting concept).
-Dungeons that can only be played once a week that give mega snacks, rare garden seeds, Weapons meant only for looks, and an extremely rare mount to get. Farming for gear has always kept people coming back just to be able to claim they were the "lucky one".It would also give people a reason to reach max level which isnt very compelling unless you enjoy max level pvp. As there isnt much end game content apart from this.

Thank you for any consideration!

Cosmetic dungeons sound helpful, but you can also just farm elsewhere for gold and buy them from Eloise Merryweather.

KI has stated before that factions of any kind will not be implemented, but more Astral-themed gear would be appreciated.

I don't quite understand the questline idea.

Again with the guild/factions.

I don't get this one either, but that could be because I never PvP.

Timed dungeons could be a fun idea.

This sounds odd and convoluted. I think side quest NPCs are close enough to this so it's not really necessary.

Morganthe is deader than dead, she fell from the throne of the Shadow Web, and I have a hunch Shadow magic is a bit too permanent for that.

Temporary dungeons could also be fun, but you don't get very specific about when you'd unlock these, which seems quite important.

Overall, most of your ideas are about dungeons, PvP & sociability. None of which I'm particularly interested in or adept at, so I could be speaking from inexperience.

Well most of it would be implemented at max level for end game content apart from just pvp or talking to friends which is really the only options unless you enjoy pet battles.

Guild and factions are just something a lot of people consider simply because it would involve doing something daily and giving people a reason to be active. Most people reach max level and get geared then leave or stop paying membership because they feel they have done everything. A competitive guild system might give people something to work for which seems exciting for me.

Most of the ideas I mentioned are very basic but can be extended and added onto, but the main purpose of it is to get people to want to reach max level and experience content apart from pvp that keeps them active through the expansions.
