We have Shrike, Sentinel, and Seraph. Each a "shadow-self" costing 1 Shadow Pip.
We have Shepherd, Nova, and Fiend. Each a "shadow-creature" costing 2 Shadow Pips.
What about "Shadow-morphs" that function similar to the moon polymorphs, except with additional stats, backlash, and cost 3 shadow pips.
First up, Shadow Warrior. The offensive-based shadow-morph. The focus is to do as much damage as possible over the course of 4 rounds. At the end of the Shadow-morph, based on the amount of backlash removed, deals 1k shadow dmg per tick of backlash removed. IE: 10 backlash removed: 1k dmg, 20 backlash removed: 2k dmg, 30 backlash removed: 3k dmg, 40 backlash removed 4k dmg

Second up, Shadow Knight. The defense-based shadow-morph. The focus to provide as much protection as possible over the course of 4 rounds. At the end of the Shadow-morph, based on the amount of backlash removed, gives each ally a shield for equal to the amount of backlash removed. IE: 10 backlash removed: 15% shield, 20 backlash removed: 30% shield, 30 backlash removed: 45% shield, and 40 backlash removed: 60% shield.
Last up, Shadow Ninja. The support-based shadow-morph. The focus is to provide as much support as possible. At the end of the Shadow-morph, based on the amount of backlash removed, gives each ally a blade equal to the amount of backlash removed. IE: 10 backlash removed: 15% blade, 20 backlash removed: 30% blade, 30 backlash removed: 45% blade, and 40 backlash removed: 60% blade.
Adjustments could be made to the amount of backlash removed by certain spells cast by each morph so that 40 isn't always guaranteed allowing for repercussions of using shadow-based morphs.
