So I was fighting the Old Smokey Boss in the Ironworks, and while I defeated him, one of his minions defeated me in the same turn. So I went back to fight him again and he was gone. Did I get any loot from the battle even though I was defeated? Did I just waste my time?
Recently I helped a friend go through a housing gauntlet and was taking hits because I had much higher health. At the last turn I was defeated just as he let go the kill-shot and ... I didn't get anything but a wobbly head. Yes it stinks, but we've all been through it.
