This is the first time I've seen KingsIsle deliver poorly conceived content. Forcing a holiday event to use keys with such a poor drop rate is infuriating.
Observations
4 people enter the dungeon, everyone waits for someone else to burn a key. If they do, the fight is quite long and they get coal 70+% of the time. I've had many instances where everyone waits and then just leaves because no one wants to waste their precious keys. Plus, you have the people with chat turned off who don't get in on the discussions about keys if that even happens. By now, many people have burned through their precious key supplies and gotten nothing to show for it.
Trust
KingsIsle has been so good at delivering content that you can trust to be fun and rewarding of your time. This is the first instance I've seen that trust broken.
Solutions
1. Keep the keys and provide reasonable rewards every time 2. Remove the keys and keep the very rare rewards
