alright, i have thought about it, i might wanna give pirates101 a try, and hopes or expectations? preferred to go class, hits and misses, tips, tricks, and tidbits..... i heard it's way better than Wizard101 with character development... but the story is lackluster.....
I prefer Wizard, my son prefers Pirate. Play it for free to try it out and see how it fits you. The combat system is very different and that appeals to some more than others.

Pirate is fun. It takes a little getting used to, but after that my friend and I played it exclusively for awhile. I enjoy the mechanics a bit more. Privateer is a good class for solo.
Pirate101 receives less updates and isn't as popular as Wizard101. Personally I think Wizard101 is much more creative and interesting. The storyline and combat system I find much more intreguing.
i tried it last night... got to privateer lvl 5 with like 4/5 pages of gifts from playing in wizard101...... and somehow i have the Valencian clock tower horse mount... perm (wish my wiz had it) and it's like a chess type battle..... still any tidbits/ricks/tips......
