I already checked the forums and couldn't find a topic on this question specifically, so I'm posting this here for help.
My Storm character is almost level 60 now and I have been trying to catch a Spinyfish pet since I started this character. I know WHERE to fish, but absolutely no one is providing specifics as to HOW to catch this pet.
What I have been doing: I fish in Ravenwood, the Commons, Unicorn Way, and Cyclops Blvd. all while using the Lesser Storm lure on fish that I have identified as being in the Storm school type. I scare away any fish that are not in the storm school.
Am I going about this wrong? What is the proper way to catch a spinyfish pet? Does lure type even matter when catching treasure chests? No one seems to know this.
