What level do you have to be to travel though out the spiral?

Hi and welcome to the Spiral and the Wizarding Community!

There are different ways to interpret your question so I'll explain how it works

Leveling up your wizard through questing will take you on your journey through the worlds of the Spiral. When you complete a world you will gain access to the next world and be able to travel there whenever you want by using a Spiral door. Within each world there are different areas, these also open up to you as you follow the storyline and get sent there for quests. Once you've been to an area through your quests it will be open to you to visit any time

However, if you want to see a higher level area or world you can teleport to a friend and visit it before your wizard has gained access themselves. There could be side quests available to you in higher level worlds but the main quests only become available when we complete the ones preceding them. Being able to teleport ahead of our quest line allows us to help friends who are a bit ahead of us, go fishing in locked zones, do some of the side quests, collect reagents currently unavailable...or simply be nosy and check out the world and beasties there!

When porting to a friend, membership allows access to all worlds and areas, but crowns players will be prompted to purchase the area if they do not already own it. Some dungeons do not allow teleporting and you will get the message 'Your friend is busy right now'.

I hope this helps!

PS. Friendly advice: When teleporting to a friend it is usually best to ask them if it's safe to port, especially if they're higher level than us. When we port to a friend who is in battle we automatically join the battle ring, which can bring an extra enemy. This can be bad news when the person fighting has just put in their hit or is all set up to hit because they might have to take more turns to deal with the new enemy added.
