It doesn't as far as I'm aware. Things like Power, Agility and Strength are for the Pet Derby. (Someone correct me if I'm wrong?)

While those stats do affect the pet derby, they also affect other aspects of the game too.

Here's what each pet stat correlates to (according to the Wizard101 Central Wiki)

Strength: Affects Damage Talents, Power Pip Chance Talents, Resistance Talents, Outgoing Healing Talents, Armor Piercing Talents, and Stun Resistance Talents.

Intellect: Affects Mana Talents, Accuracy Talents, Power Pip Chance Talents, Critical Block Talents, Incoming Healing Talents, and Stun Resistance Talents.

Agility: Affects Health Talents, Accuracy Talents, Resistance Talents, Critical Talents, Incoming Healing Talents, and Armor Piercing Talents.

Will: Affects Damage Talents, Health Talents, Mana Talents, Critical Talents, Critical Block Talents, and Outgoing Healing Talents.

Power: Affects Health Talents, Mana Talents, Accuracy Talents, Damage Talents, Power Pip Chance Talents, Resistance Talents, Critical Talents, Critical Block Talents, Incoming Healing Talents, Outgoing Healing Talents, Armor Piercing Talents, and Stun Resistance Talents.

In order to get the most out of a pet's raw number talents like resists or damage, their base stats (Power, Strength, Agility, etc.) need to be as close to 250 as possible.

If all of the stats that influence a talent are 235 or higher, the pet will develop 100% of the talent's potential. Spell Proof, for example, will reach 10%.

If one of the stats is 230 or lower, the Spell Proof talent will only reach 9%. If it's below 210, you're looking at 8%.

Looking at damage talents, a similar tier exists. To get the most out of a Dealer talent, you need all damage-influence stats (Strength, Will, Power) to be 235 or higher. Key stats at 225 or higher will get you your 6% from a Giver talent, but only 8% from the Dealer.
