i know this idea been asked many times and I agree it's good so let ask it again. So kingisle could make a general panel of all the mount features heads tails, body colour, etc and put them in a pallet. The player would then be able to enter the palet and choose the head, armour, the body, the tail etc of all the items he wants. Then he would pick the colour and the sub colour. (This system is like the way we choose the ship in pirate101). We would then confirm our look and have our own custom mounts. This would cost 20k crowns for none members and 1 free mount for members with extra costing 8000 crowns. There should be many many plates we as players could choose.
