does anyone actually know why the polite word "ma'am" is restricted to chat, and open chat. I emailed the support people and they couldn't give me an answer so I'm looking for yalls input for possible answer. I don't know why it's blocked but I'm just looking for some answers

It contains the substring `aa`, which is blocked at all levels of chat. It seems that KI forgot to add `ma'am` as an exception.

You can say madam, which is what ma'am is short for.

I think they should add the exception of Ma'am
Calling someone Madam makes me think of someone old that is royal and miss makes me think of a young girl o.o
In JROTC I was trained to address someone as "ma'am" or "sir" when saying yes or no so I have a habit of automatically saying "yes/no ma'am" and it's annoying to see it say "yes/no ..."

Madam means negative things in slang and in the dictionary, although it is also a polite word.

"Madam" for instance means "bossy" in some slang.

I'd love to say ma'am also, and I hate people to think I can't spell ma'am.
