Yeah I'm lucky to have well over 400 max stat pets at mega/ultra, including pets for all school, plus wards, maycast healers, outgoing heal boosts and specialised pet. I think I have all the most popular combos and often make pets 'to order' eg the clean pool, max stat, trip/double fennec fox I recently made for someone on here that you also hatched with

I love pets and love helping people - it's a perfect combo for me

Not everyone enjoys making pets though and sometimes people don't really want to make them even if they are given all the advantages of a perfect pet to copy and a strategy to do so effectively and as easily as possible. You've tried your best to persuade the OP to take the opportunities presented in this thread and perhaps he hasn't realised the extent of help/support offered, but the offers are still there and you don't need to worry about it. It's nice to know you appreciate it when I offer pets and help...feedback like this helps me know it's still useful to others and appreciated. It's why I keep making new pets and will always be happy to share with anyone who wants them

Could I hatch with your Fennec Fox again?

Why do pets keep failing?! I hatched with a max stat kookaburra with the 4 critical talents and the highest damage life talent but no I got pain giver. -.- Please make pets pay to win I am sick and tired of raising pets I just want to actually wanna play the game, but no op bosses and my weak pets are preventing me from making progress in Empyrea.

For one, you DONT NEED AN OP PET
For two, you might be over exaggerating a little.
For three, no one is making you raise pets.
For Four, making pets pay-to-win makes a lot of others, maybe half the community mad, because a lot of people buy only membership, not crowns.
and lastly, ask a friend to help.

Yes of course!

Just catch me in game and I'll meet in Dworgyn realm hatchery on Victoria, or post back to the forum if you want to arrange a specific time (start a new thread or use the one we were on if it's still active).

How to get a great pet:

1) Farm for gold. Lots of gold. Garden for mega snacks.
2) Search kiosk for a pet that has everything you want.
3) Hatch.
4) Train new pet up to adult. If good talents manifest, keep training.
5) If your new pet manifests a talent you don't want, use THAT pet to hatch with kiosk, again only with a pet that has your desired talents.
6) Repeat until you have your perfect pet.

It took me almost a year to get a great pet on 4 of my characters, and that includes double pet xp events. It's a long process, but if you have your wizard heart set on a "perfect pet," you need patience and gold.

1 - yes
2 - yes
3 - yes
4 - NO
5 - NO

4 - Whatever talents it gets, hatch again at adult. Repeat this process until you have copied the stats and pool.
5 - When you have stats and pool copied hatch again so you have 2 base copies of the pet you're hatching with. If it vanishes from the kiosk you have everything you need from it already.
6 - Use 'safe hatching' method - always keep 2 pets safe to hatch together if your pet fails. Train the babies, switch them with parents if they are better (have more of the desired talents manifested)...until you have the perfect pet.

Safe hatching quick explanation.

Safe hatching starts once you have copied the pool and stats of the perfect pet (and got these on the desired body).

Key points of safe hatching:

1. Throughout the process you are working with 3 pets - safe, safe and train. All 3 pets have perfect stats, pool and are the 'right' body type.
2. By having 2 safe pets any time the 'train' pet fails you can go back to the safe ones and hatch again.
3. The title you assign the pet (safe/train) is fluid. The most effective use of safe hatching includes moving the 3 pets between these roles.
4. Once you are in safe hatching phase, work on making safe pets that only have desired talents manifested. Once achieved, NEVER hatch one that has a fail talent manifested. (manifested talents are more likely to manifest in the baby).
5. Once your safe (sometimes called parents) have the 5 desired talents between them (and nothing undesired) hatch them together and train the babies until you get one that manifests all 5 talents. You can continue to change out the parent/safe at each level up if you make a superior one or you can yolo babies until you get everything manifested on one.

Only hatch using a pet with an undesired talent manifested if it is a 'between pet' or you have not yet achieved a pet without an undesired talent by adult. If your adult pet is your only one without a fail manifested do not train him further, use him to hatch and keep him as a safe/parent!

I hope this helps!

Spot on advise about snacks, gold, and patience.

I don't bother with "safe" as there's no statistical support that training affects outcomes at all. Manifested is no worse than "would manifest if I kept training". Everything was set at hatch. The same pet at adult, epic, or mega will pass the same talents with the same odds. Manifesting a "bad" talent at a higher level doesn't make that pet worse to hatch with. The "bad" slot has been there all along, you just didn't see it.

That said, Victoria's advice about going in steps is still sound. If you haven't collected all the talents you want and SEEN them manifest on parents, you're odds of getting them to pop is low. You're working blind. So not training too far too soon will save on snacks and time. I generally just train to adult if I know i am going to hatch again. As she suggested, collect pools and stats, then refine for desired manifested. Once you have parents that both have all the wanted traits in the pool (ideally with mis-matched unwanted) it's inevitable that you can get your "perfect" though it may still take multiple tries. There's a lot of chance involved no matter what we do.

Best of luck!

I use safe hatching because I'm guaranteed to get exactly what I want and especially when using a kiosk pet I've heard way too many people complain they took a while (days? Weeks? More?) training, only to get a high level fail and the pet is gone from the kiosk.

I think it is especially important when you don't have access to the original pet whenever you want to glean it for all the components so you can rely on what it in your backpack if the pet is removed.

Of course, if anyone knows the owner they can easily get access restored if the pet vanishes...if not, I highly recommend safe hatching!

Any hints on how to get the body type you want? I hatched with the utilitycorns until I got both energy boosts, both fishing luck and may cast garden fairy - the things I wanted. The first few hatches I got my spirit of the forest back as the body type but now all I get are unicorns when I hatch.

Nothing we do influences what we get, however some pets are easier to get than others. This is a species trait unfortunately, so all we can do is use a "hard to get" type and hope for the best.

There was a way to hatch between two wizards and keep the same body every time using school pets, and many of us used that to develop new pet pools, but unfortunately KI eliminated that in the update that introduced the kiosk. It's a terrible setback because now we're back to pure chance.

I think you've misunderstood my meaning - it doesn't guarantee it on a specific hatch; it guarantees it as an end result.

I would suggest you go for a triple damage, double resist pet, that critical is not going to help you much, most end game bosses just block anyway and I feel the resist will serve you better.
