This idea was intended to make Medulla worth farming.
Medulla is a well designed boss and a very long battle but has no initial pay-off other than to continue the story.
Idea: An amulet for each school a bit better than Morganthe's amulets stat-wise that provide 1 shadow pip at the start of each battle.
Drop location: Medulla, this amulet will give a purpose for wizards to farm Medulla for this level 125 amulet in otherwise a not very drop heavy boss despite for a boss as difficult as Medulla.
Unique: This amulet will +1 shadow pip at the start of a battle. This will allow wizards to have a variety of gameplay choices.
1: Will remove a heavy RNG mechanic from PvP allowing it to be more balanced.
2: Will remove an annoying mechanic I like to call pass until play.
Pass until play is essentially you continue passing until you have a shadow pip which is just annoying and makes battles longer and less enjoyable.
Providing a shadow pip at the start of a battle will allow Wizards to rethink their deck setups and revolve them to be more efficient and beneficial.
If you can think of any problems or improvements involving this idea, feedback would be appreciated.
Idk about getting a shadow pip first round though, because if we could get a shadow pip every first round the worlds would have to be made way harder because storm could just glow bugs for 3000 damage first round, and 6000 if they critical. The worlds would be even easier then they already are.
