Those times when you have to find certain rare reagents but there aren't any of the specific ones you need, you could have a craft exhange table or shop that allows you to exhange an item that you've crafted for the reagents and other things that were used to craft it. The items that you exhange could be exchanged for some of the rare reagents that are hard to get
I think there was an idea similar to this in the past, which involved an 'Uncrafting Table'. I'd love this feature, it'd give players another reason to learn crafting, and it'd be a way to get back reagents you need more than the item you made.
