Shadow Critical Jewels

So I have a question.

If shadow creatures can't critical, what is the point of these Shadow Critical and Shadow Critical Block jewels?

easy answer. they can critical. go fight malistaire in darker and tell me they can't critical.

I think one day they'll be useful as we delve further into Shadow.

I have fought Malistaire in Darkmoor. His shadow form is a special case, inaccessible to players, and thus, does not count. I'm mostly talking about Shadow Creatures, as in the 2 pip shadow spells. They can't critical, so what's the use of these jewels to players?

Right now the only straight up shadow attacks are wand spells. I'd imagine there will be more additions to Shadow in the future.
