I think they are out of the offices the whole week, but it would be nice next year. Over half my family and friends lapse memberships int December, but that would be a reason to re-up. A week to harvest gardens or train pets would be amazing.
I think from Christmas to new years there should be all access to all players members or not. some people may not e able to pay but would really enjoy the opportunity to get to play at new worlds.
