I have a first gen Frosty Fish that I want to train to mega and have good talents. Do you guys have any tips for getting the best traits?
Thanks,

There are no "tips." Every pet has a set talent pool and five talents are preset to develop at the moment of hatching. The talents that pet will learn and the order they learn them in is preset. Nothing you do will change that.

It doesn't matter what games you play
It doesn't matter what snacks you feed
It doesn't matter if you stand on your head

What the pet gets is what it gets - completely random and completely based on the luck of the draw. However, once a talent does show up in a trained pet, that pet has a slightly better chance of passing the trained talent onto its children. Your best bet to get talents you need, therefore, is by breeding pets that already have a talent you want.

To develop particular talents via hatching, get TWO Frosty fish and train both to adult. Hatch them together several times and train up all the offspring to adult. Pick the two with the best combination of talents and begin hatching them together. If you get a pet that gets two talents you want by adult, stop training that pet and hatch it with another pet that has a third talent you want. Now you'll train the offspring to Ancient until you get the three talents you want on one pet.

Once that happens, STOP training and begin hatching your perfect ancient to another pet that has 2 or 3 talents that you like.

Keep checking over your offspring and always hatch the ones with the best talents.

It takes a long time and a ton of gold, because you're still fighting against random luck.
