Hi, I had a question regarding redeeming membership codes. My sister met this person in game and he said that he has a code for a member if she wants it. He gave the code to her and she plans to redeem it her self (so this way he doesnt have any of her account information) so my question is can she get banned or hacked from this redeeming this code? If someone from kingsisle or Dworgyn would reply that would be great! Thanks for your time

I wouldn't trust people in game that offer you codes....

In this case, it's best to use the adage, "If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is."

Thanks for replying. Unfortunately she went ahead and redeemed it instead of waiting for a reply now I'm really worried that she will get banned. Would it have happened all ready? If it did happen, I read the post you had in the link and it said "that recovering an account that has stolen property requires full payment for the subscription that were fraudulently received." So if the code was a scam and she did get banned because turned out to be a stolen code she would just have to pay for it to get unbanned? Thanks for your time again.
