Myth should get an extra minion slot in combat

I am currently playing as myth and as I progress through levels with that character I see that the minions become less and less useful. While this is expected what's not expected is when I do research on it via Google I see that pretty much universally players say that being a Summoner is not viable end game. That's not to say that the school of myth is not viable endgame, I've seen plenty of people saying that you can actually be very effective in the end game content if you play it correctly, which is cool. It's just that being a Summoner specifically is not effective in the late game content.

I think that one way to make the class more viable as a Summoner would Be that there could be a dedicated extra 5th flat in the combat field that's only available for myth minions. This way Myth Class Heroes can summon up to two minions or 1 if combat is full. I think this would make the entire concept of summoning much more viable, in addition it would make the class much more unique. I know that some will say that it might be unbalanced, but it seems like the minions become pretty weak as the game goes into end game content so it doesn't seem like it should be hard to balance it out. Sorry about formatting I'm on mobile.

I agree that the minions are basically obsolete by the end of marleybone or maybe even krok but I think this is kind of a radical solution. I think it would be much better if they just buffed the minions health and gave them better spells or allow the summoner to control what spells the minions cast. If the wizard could work in conjunction with the minion instead of the minion casting random spells they would be much more useful.

Maybe instead of getting an extra slot, Kingsisle revises the Myth Minions and makes them more powerful than other school minions. For example, let's say most schools get their minion at level 30 (I am not sure if that is true, just using as an example). The level 30 minion has certain powers and abilities. For Myth, maybe they get a minion with abilities and powers more appropriate to a level 50 Myth henchman.

At the normal level when other schools would get their next minion, the Myth one would be 10 or 20 levels higher in power equivalent to that level of henchman. That could maybe revive the myth class and make them more equitable in terms of power. I mean after all, there are some enormously powerful mythical creatures that should make for an awesome henchman to assist the Myth character class.

I don't agree about the extra slot in a full combat, but I do agree that Myth should be able to summon more than one minion at a time if there are slots open. Odd that they can't, since cheating bosses can.

My very first wizard was a Myth, way back in the old days and I thought at first that she would get to control her minions as an extension of her own game play (like is done in Pirate101). Nope. Minions are wild cards that all too often end up doing more harm than good. Maybe that's why it's so rare to see Myth at the end game.

Maybe Myth would be more popular if the actual minions could be controlled at least somewhat. Let the player select a class of behaviors when they first summon a minion: heal, attack, buff, etc. The minion could still act independently, but the wizard chooses for it to only debuff and break shields; or shield and heal; or just give out blades and traps.

Any minion earned after level 100 definitely should have this aspect. And yes, Myth only should get this ability. They're supposed to be the minion specialists, after all....

i dont play myth, but i agree, through all the schools, by lvl 100, myth is lackluster... spells trying to stun, every boss is stun resistant, cast a minion, leaving your pips depleted, and minion dies in 2/3 turns... ice the school notorious for being the weakest school in the game, is more of a better school to play as in the late games.... between being able to cast 2 minions, or being able to control the minions attributes in what type of spell, is definitely needed... myths are conjurers... not punching bags
