Hello! This is my second post all throughout the site, so it'll be an interesting one . I have a question/suggestion about an introduction for a world, any world really. I've had the idea for the past week but anyways here it is. There could be a gargantuan battle of sorts either titan like creatures or just leaders battling it out. My idea is that one group was losing and was near to death, while the other group was about to succeed, when the losing group asked the Wizard who just entered through the Spiral door for aid in the battle, perhaps calls the Wizard "OutLander" or something with the loser not knowing any history about the Wizard. But the twist which could consist of half the amount of time in the world, the group that the wizard (forcefully) helped would be lured in sorta say like all words do. Make the Wizard seem like that the group he helped is the good guys, and later the other group he will face in given battles are the bad guys as most battles like that go. Say the Wizard was tasked as pre-normal to attack the Bad Group, and the wizard may have (forcefully) doubts that the Bad Group isn't bad but the Good group is actually bad, but make it all seemed rushed that the Wizard has no real (though its fake) thought of being on the wrong side throughout.
Part 2 line: (Bad means Bad and Good means Good in this part)
During all of that event and such others, the wizard could learn for example a spell, or get some interesting stuff, not much thou like one or two items from the Bad Group. And perhaps there's blackmail or a threat and the wizard can't necessarily leave the Bad Group when he figures out that side is the Bad Side, but might be able to become a spy for the Good, of course, a few battles with the Good Side because they think the wizard is bad. Also during that world, in most citizens eyes (not throughout the entire world) the Wizard should be seen as an evil character used by the Bad Group, also there should be some hint that the bad group is using the Wizard perhaps a distressed citizen does some remark/comment and the Wizard slowly from then finds out what's the truth. Perhaps some of the Wizard's allies see the Wizard betraying so some real good members from the wizards' history uses something like a last resort weapon or tool or gives word to an unknown person like in Starwars that their plan has failed or chaos has spurred. Or maybe any Insiders in the Wizard City force will show their hands, perhaps one is tasked to be with the Wizard like other people are throughout the game, and got word to destroy the wizard, and that escort will have cards depending on the school of the Wizard (And Solo fight).
Anyways, had that idea of being betrayed and later lead on to the rest, well thank you all for reading, would LOVE to get replies on the idea or edits on it.
