I think that death has been falling behind and slowly becoming more and more the least used school for max 1v1 pvp. Most schools that need them all have something to spam but death. And the last card death got from a pack was deer night / lord of night, which we can craft or farm for. So an idea from me is to make headless horseman a real spell or make a new pack in November through January and have death get a decent spam card.
