Guys, while I'm trying to win a charred fossil unsuccessfully, does anyone know how do I get one?

Are you hatching your sun serpant against an avenging fossil??
That's the only requirement.
It took me about 15 hatches between my Sabertooth and my Avenging fossil to get the hybrid myself.

If you're using the right parents, I'd say keep trying...
