Wrong XP for a Boss Battle

In Deepwater, Avalon, the defeat bosses quests give 9150 XP. This is wrong for a boss battle with over 14k health combined with the minion.

I feel your pain. In Azteca there were 2 bosses and each quest only gave around 5,000 and 6,000 xp I wonder if this is just a glitch?
