No pet from hatching.

I just hatched my new golden goose with a ice mountain yeti and I got no pet back. The gold is gone which I don't really care about but I got no pet from it. Is this a bug/glitch or is it possible to not get a pet back? Anything will help, Thanks.

If your backpack was full the egg may have gone into your bank or shared bank. I would recommend checking there.
