I've been wondering, for a very long time, and have never understood how the bird spells that you get from Mortis, in Nightside, do. I mean, I am Myth, and i have the Subdue, and the Mega Subdue, i've putten both of them, but i can never understand what they do. They say that it reduces the threat on you, but when i try it, it does not. So yeah, i'm just wondering if anyone can answer this for me, it'll be real helpful.

Subdue cards lowers the threat on you. That means monsters are less likely to attack you, but it does'nt work when you are soloing.

It does reduce the threat on you, you're probably just using it alone, in which case threat does not affect targeting. If you cast healing or damage spells, that generates threat on you. Monsters will target the player with the most threat. Subdue will reduce the threat on the target player, and therefore decrease the likelihood of being targeted.
