I have a Microsoft Surface Pro running Windows 8. Wizard101 runs just fine on it. It installs as an "app" on main screen, not the desktop.
My 9 year old son, though, does not like it for the following reasons. 1) screen too small 2) finger input too imprecise 3) touchpad too small.
I purchased a Microsoft wedge mouse for him to try, but we haven't had time to try it yet.
