Realm Ideas

1.
A holiday realm. Each area of the holiday realm* is based off of a holiday. Maybe the northernmost area of the holiday realm could be the North Pole, based off of Christmas. Maybe a labyrinth under the holiday realm is the Halloween area.

There would be the Commons area (I'll call it the Holiday Countdown Room for now), that is holiday neutral, a place you could go when there is no holiday season. However, when there is a holiday, someone in the Holiday Countdown Room would give you a quest going to the holiday-specific area of the current major holiday. You could only go to this area during the time of the holiday. There could be one main quest line and maybe 5 side quests in each area. It can't be too cluttered or people will never finish it during the holiday season. You could repeat the main quest line and side quests once every time the holiday comes around and earn the same amount of rewards.

There should also be some shops that could sell you holiday-based gear, holiday-based furniture, and holiday-based houses in each area**. The shop(s) in the Christmas area could be called "Santa's Workshop(s)".

*Example of an area is Stormriven in Celestia and Triton Avenue in Wizard City.

**Which could serve as possible motivation for people to go back.

2.
Instead of a villain every arc, there should be a villain every world (or maybe every three worlds). This keeps the game more interesting because you can look forward to the next villain a few worlds/one world in advance. Also, it can create a greater sense of community, because people can collaborate on ideas for new villains, have more things to talk about, and stuff like that.

Post villain ideas in this thread! One idea I had is below.

Name: General Edward "Eddie" Axevile (axe-ee-vile).

Species: Human. I imagine him like those people from Dragonspyre but alive.

Element: Probably either Fire or Storm, since they're the most powerful schools.

Personality: Eddie is a ruthless, rude, mean, sociopathic general from another world* who hates children and doesn't believe in education.

Goal: Eddie wants to reinstate child labor and make everyone join the military once they're 18 (or one of the two could also work).

Background: Eddie was an introvert who got bullied a lot in school. He was orphaned at 10 years old and grew to hate humanity and view them more as tools. He joined the military at 18 and fast became a star, then a general.

*Possibly an army-based world, which would be cool. He could also be from Dragonspyre, which would also make sense.

Another villain idea:

Name: Queen Mary McGlutton.

Species: Gobbler.

Element: Life.

Personality: Mary acts sweet, but as you get to know her you learn her unfair, wicked, and cruel nature.

Goal: Mary wants to eliminate all the other schools and make Life the only school in existence.

Background: Mary originates from Colossus Boulevard. She taught Life magic before Sylvia Drake at Ravenwood. In her childhood, she was bullied by all the other schools except Life. Life students were her only friends. Not only that, but Life were her only friends throughout her life. Donald Death made her parents disappear, orphaning her. Baxter Balance, a guard who worked in the Marleybone prison tried to get her arrested multiple times, and even used her family against her. Chuck Chuckle the Evil Snowman trapped her in an ice cube in Polaris for one year. Mark Legend, the Myth wizard who homeschooled her, taught her everything wrong on purpose to mislead her. She had to study Life magic with a librarian. Fiery the Fire Elf set fire to her town. And Larry Lightning tried to experiment on her. The librarian who taught her real things acted as if she was Mary's mother, and as they grew closer Mary hated the other schools even more.

Back to her adulthood. She got fired from Ravenwood for attacking a Death wizard who was assigned to get some materials in her classroom (possibly Malistaire during his childhood, but it depends on how long she's taught and how old she is). She goes back to Colossus Boulevard and sits boiling in her hatred of the other schools - until the present. She overthrows the Gobbler King and Queen and decides to wipe out all the other schools except Life once and for all.

(If you're a Life wizard fighting her, she could say "I don't want to fight you, but you've chosen the wrong side, much to my dismay, darling." or something like that, if you ever meet her - which we probably will).

Mary McGlutton could also say something different for every school, which would be really cool.

Name: Bailey Newgate.

Nickname: Old Bailey.

Species: Dog.

Element: Balance , Death , or Storm in my opinion.

Personality: Impish and clever.

Goal: Old Bailey wants to take over Ravenwood and make students lose control over their powers so he can put them in Newgate Prison under the terms "uncontrollable power", therefore gaining more revenue.

Background: Old Bailey is the founder of Newgate Prison in Marleybone. He has been managing for ages and now he is close to retirement with no where near enough money to retire, so he comes up with a devious plan. He assembles his top seven most trusted employees and forms the Council of Newgate. His plan is to take Merle Ambrose's position, fire the current teachers, and put the council members instead. Then, once he has taken over Ravenwood, he will open Newgate Prison's doors to people with uncontrollable powers, and try to get students to lose control of their powers. Not only that, but he will actively frame people, and have two ways to stock up on prisoners so he can get enough money for retirement.

Idea! The bad guys in Mary McGlutton's story could be in Bailey's Council of Newgate. Donald Death , Baxter Balance , Chuck Chuckle the Evil Snowman , Mark Legend , Fiery the Fire Elf and Larry Lightning . That just leaves a Life wizard , which probably will not be Bailey. Anyway, Bailey is going to be the headmaster, not the Life teacher .

About Eddie, I think he shouldn't want people to join the military at age 18, but at a younger age like 6, since he doesn't believe in education.

Actually let me change that. Since labor is necessary, he can assign certain schools different jobs with his school being the royalty of course.
