Does Energy effect Pet Spells in Combat?

Quick Question-does the players energy effect how often a Pet will cast a spell in combat? I notice many times my pet sits idle during combat, especially when I need him to cast something. Is there some way to entice him to cast spells?

No, it doesn't matter. Pet may-cast talents just have x% chance of happening on certain events. Nothing in pet or player stats can change that.
