I'm addicted to mythology, and if you've read some of my previous posts, you probably know. So I had this idea, we currently have wizards & pirates, but what about a purely mythology based game. Greek101 has been suggested before, but in this game, there would be many more classes. I'm thinking between 5-10 types of mythology, and three classes for each mythology.

Egyptian:
-Pharaoh (focuses on minions & manipulation).
-Scribe (focuses on magic & manipulation).
-Chief Lector (focuses on damage & DoTs).

Roman:
-Augur (focuses on manipulation & sacrificial damage [like Immolate]).
-Soldier (focuses on damage & weaponry).
-? (ideas for another Roman class anyone?)

Nordic:
-Valkyrie (focuses on healing & damage).
-Evil Godling (focuses on drains and DoTs).
-Good Godling (focuses on minions & damage).

Medieval:
-Blacksmith (focuses on weaponry & DoTs).
-Royal (focuses on minions & defense).
-Mage (focuses on magic & healing).

Japanese:
-Emperor (focuses on minions & damage).
-Samurai (focuses on damage & defense).
-Oni (focuses on manipulation & drains).

Mayan:
-Priest (focuses on drains & sacrificial damage).
-Jaguar Healer (focuses on heals & DoTs).
-Warrior (focuses on damage & magic).

If anyone can think of more types of mythology, like Canaanite, Chinese or others, and some classes for them, then please leave a reply. But what do you think? Do you want Mythos101? Do you agree with the classes suggested? Do you have any better ideas for classes mentioned?

I've come up with a few more ideas:

Canaanite:
-Path of Marqod (focuses on healing & sacrificial damage).
-Path of Hadad (focuses on damage & sacrificial damage).
-Path of Yam (focuses on minions & DoTs).

Chinese:
-Potter (focuses on minions & sacrificial damage).
-Writer (focuses on magic & minions).
-Guard (focuses on defense & healing).

What do you think? Any more ideas?

Persian:
- Yazats (focuses on magic and damage)
- Zahak (focuses on DoT and defense)
- Rostam (not sure)

And another good roman class would be:

-Spartan (focuses on damage and defense)

Cool ideas, but I was thinking that each class would have two special focuses, different to everything else, and the Zahak fits fine, but there's already a magic & damage, and a damage & defence too. Maybe the Spartan could be weaponry & minions? And Yazats could be magic & sacrificial damage. Rostam is an epic idea, and they could be damage & drains. But awesome ideas, I think that there's 9 mythology types at the moment, so another one and we have a lot of classes.

That sounds like a really good idea! I hope that someday they'll make that! I'd play it!

Blaze Sandblade,

Wow. I am impressed by your extensive knowledge of mythology.

I like this idea, and hopes K.I. likes it too.

Third class idea for roman: Legionnaire, focuses on building defense and healing

As you probably are aware, the Roman legion was probably one of the most efficient forces due to the fact of how they were organized(a phalanx formation). With their long spears and shield to block arrows it was incredibly difficult to beat them in battle(though if you snuck behind them you'd probably win, turning an entire phalanx around is kinda hard)
