Hello! I've been trying to hatch a good life pet that does decent damage and maybe some healing if i'm lucky, but i'm not sure how to obtain said pet. Are there certain snacks I need to feed my pet for certain stats? What about pedigree? Also, how do i recieve certain moves? Does each pet have a unique talent list or is it preset for the pet you have?

1st Gen pets (pets dropped or bought) have 10 talent slots. Every 1st Gen pet of a certain type has the same exact 10 possible talents in their list. As you level the pet up, it's 5 learned talents will reveal themselves at each level. Talents are set when a pet is hatched/dropped/bought. Nothing you feed or train with will change which 5 talents a pet learns.
The only difference with hatched pets is that they are a blend of their parent's talent lists. They get 10 of 20 possible talents from both of their parent's lists and then learn 5 of those 10. So every hatched pet with the same 2 parents can be totally different and have totally different mix of talents, but all their talents will come from the 20 their parents had in their lists.
Pedigree is just a total of possible talents by level. Common =1 up to Epic =5. So hypothetically if a pet had 10 Epic talents and 10 Epic Derby it would be 100 pedigree. It really means nothing. Concentrate on what talents you want, not on highest pedigree. There are some Uncommon talents that are better than Epic.

So if i'm going for a damage pet, i should level up its strength attributes? Also, do pet snack schools even matter?
