I feel like there should be an item in the crowns shop that prevents your pet's offspring from becoming the other person's species. Maybe there's a way of preventing this that I'm not aware of? It just gets disappointing when you picture your ultimate pet as a certain species, yet genetics had to change your ideals along the way...
