More sources for litter, please!

I think Litter should drop in more places! After all, not every mob in the Spiral is a paragon of civic stewardship.

Do you REALLY think grendels pick up after themselves? Or Imitsu Defoulers, numbskull ogres, Gobbler Gorgers, or Shadow Weavers? Nuh-uh.

Meanwhile, our Couch Potatoes, the scourge of modern Western civilization, cannot reach their full potential on account of opaque waste-management policies.

I have spent plenty of quality time in the alleyways and rooftops of Marleybone, gotten to know most of the O'Leary clan on a first-name basis, in fact. Have only ever gotten a single litter in 3 years of playing this game.

I have seen, with my own eyes, piles of fish bones, tin cans, crab apple cores, empty Rex Tea paper cups, banana peels, foil Red Hot Zocalo Wings wrappers, and Shanta Pudding cups here and there in every single world, yet cannot go pick them up and place them in my garden.

Alorna the Spinster Yeti of Frozen Tears lives in a garbage house, well known to every entity with a nose within 3 zones' distance of her cave. Zoot and I even went in there and confronted her from behind ceiling-high stacks of old issues of the Urville Courier, mounds of mouldering animal bones, wading knee-deep in empty Mooshu Milk cartons and tuna tins, geologic layers of empty Spritely Soda cans, etc.

Not only did she give us a hard time, she didn't drop so much as a lime peel. Every piece of detritus in the cave was immovably glued down to every other piece by aeons of grime. Litter specialists such as Daniel Fairycaller and Wolf Soulslinger were called in to extract usable litter from the dwelling, to no avail. It had to be burned down.

Here's what I propose.

Any mob with "vandal", "polluter", "defouler", "defiler", "ransacker", or "looter" or any other destructive, careless, or defiant sort of property damage implied in their names, should have Litter added to their drop tables.

Litter should drop in these important boss battles, for flavor reasons:

1) Melweena Smite, the fearsome banshee whose side quest often gets overlooked.
2) Akuji in Tree of Life. This guy is so far out in the boonies that the imperial municipal waste truck doesn't come to his house. As a result, his front yard is a treasure trove of old shoes, tin cans, Hametsu Sushi trays, and broken wing chun dummies. Even better since he duplicates himself if you bring extra help.
3) Ranzan in Drum Jungle. This guy could use some pointers on housekeeping, as the quest dialog reminds you.
4) The dear gentle soul Alorna in her cavern, alone among her middens of bones of uncertain affinity (and the occasional broken wand or backpack). If you hear a menacing growl, it's not her voice - she's mute - but more likely, it's her stomach.

Ah, I love when wizards rant about litter. Personally, I hate when litter drops from every o'leary that half my gold is made from litter itself. I do grow taters, and find 1-2 litters helpful when growing them. But, drop chances are drop chances. I do not think litter should be dropped by every messy marvin, or then our beloved Bazaar would be overrun by the trash. I think only Gobblers and O'Learys should drop litter.

I farmed for an hour a day for a month. No Litter.
I gave up for about a month. Obv, still no litter.
This morning, on a rare weekday with no work because of an afternoon personal appointment, I farmed for the Charlatans for two hours and got one.
They do exist. Really.

I'm good with farming - but the number of hours I put in, just to take care of CPs at this point rivals the hours put into fully Mali gearing a wizard.

Why it so rare, KI?

It's a rip off and if they had a heart they would have it more in the store. I gave up...Not worth the headache. That's how they keep you on the game longer to, i'd find better stuff to put that drop rate on rather then the litter that don't amount up to NoThInG lol

I did farm pretty much endlessly for litter for three weekends for litter for all of my wizards. All I garden right now is couch potatoes. Suddenly, abut two weeks ago, my couch potatoes started dropping litter and sandwich stations quite regularly. I was a little chagrined as I had worked so hard to craft and harvest. Even more interesting was when I went to sell litter is was valued at two gold.

Anyway, if someone wants litter and sandwich stations and can figure out a way to get them from me let me know.
