shirataki temple bug

i was doing shirataki temple so i could go get the recipe for a spell. at the beginning you know that level with a boulder blocking a path way and you gotta go fight a boss to get the key to the lever? well i tried to pull the lever before i got the key and it worked. is this just an old bug?

You go lucky! Yep, it's a glitch. I'm sure it will be fixed in time..
