Wouldn't it be cool if spells could evolve, and even better they could evolve to fit your school(s). I mean just think, having storm bats turn brown and purple and do balance and storm damage if your school was storm and balance. And even cooler if the spells could evolve and change, causing more damage and for shelf spells more protection from schools.
