I thought knew how mana burn worked, but I was not.

Here is something new for me, I guess.
It looks like a bug to me. but let me explain first.

I was pvping against fire wizard. I was the second. So my opponent always attack me first.

My opponent had 8 pips casting efreet.
Me casting mana burn.

So I burned nothing. That is fine, totally understadable.
However after mana burn, 3 power pips appeared from my opponent's pip zone.
Where are those pips coming from?

It was like I was adding 3 power pips to his pip zone.

My opponent didn't cast efreet for free, because all of his pip was gone when he casted .
This happend AFTER I casted mana burn.

Anyone knows why this is happening? and why does it have to be 3 power pips?
I would like a clear explanation on this.
Please help me out here.

Mychol,

Fear not.
You're not actually giving the opponent 3 pips. This is just a graphical glitch. It's happened to me many times.

It appears as if though they have gained 3 pips, when you look at their battle sigil. However, if you take a look at the 2D combat display, in the upper portion of the screen, you will see that the opponent only has 1 pip to use.
