i bought one today, leveled it up to adult in 7-12 mini games (I had really good snacks from booster packs, like hydras hoard) and its talents only had to do with power and intellect! I'm wondering, should I keep working on him, or get a new death pet? If so, which pet? Benjamin ShadowBlade Level 8 (so far)

it's not a bad starting death pet, but you'll get the best talents by hatching for them. No first generation pet (the ones you buy or get as drops) have all good talents. So once it's adult, find someone who has the traits you want, hatch with them, and train the new pet. Once that is adult, you may want to hatch again.

You can look for hatches in game, or check the meetup board on Wizard101 Central:

Best of luck!
