Im trying to get a perfect low level life pet. Why so expencive? Im breeding and breeding, and I could be spending on better stuff.

Hmmm... the key word there is "perfect". You want cheap perfection? It's only gold which is the easiest thing to come by in this game. Be prepared to spend nearly 40,000 gold per hatch when you start combining higher level pets.
The problem is that Hatching is a little complicated and let me just say I'm stuck on the same page wasting gold for a good pet. I think the reason is that you could be combining one crown pet with a common could it be a problem?
