Here's another thread on making the menu chat better. It's still a good idea, but more than that, it's needed.
Added suggestions:
You need an Adult pet to hatch an egg.
You need a lot of gold to hatch a pet.
Don't hit yet, your opponent has a shield.
Don't use that spell, you will activate a boss cheat.
Save your pips so you can heal.
It's going to continue to hurt players if they don't get this.
Also the option while in battle to say "No, Thank You"; "Sure" "Yes Please" in one click instead of having to use the base menu when players who only have menu chat, message you while you're in the middle of a battle.
