Help removing plots!

I set down several new plots in a different place but decided that I didn't like them there.

I have been trying for several days to remove them but I can't get a green check when I hover over them.

It will let me put a seed there and I have tried moving all around for different angles but they are stubborn.

Anyone else ever run into this - how do I get these plots removed?

Train the spell "Plow" from Farley in Golem Court, you will be able to destroy plots for 1 Energy.

I am trying to "plow" the plots - I can't get a check mark to appear.
I am currently a rank 11 gardener - I have tried the basics but this is something I've never run into before.

What type of plots, what house, etc? You might have to send an email to support.
