Just wondering, beginners and seasoned fighters, total number of matches, win loss, what is your record right now?

EDIT

I made a terrible mistake with my math by focusing only on losses and wins while ignoring the total. Sorry!

It should have been

divide your number of wins by the total of matches you had. This would give you your win/loss percentage. I don't know how I made such a wild mistake. So my percentage is actually:

480/872= 0.55

So I have 55%

My biggest gap between win loss is on my lvl 15 fire who has 1320-128, a record made possible from fighting all the way at the rank ceiling (1030-1080). The system awards minimal points for wins vs high level privates and these type of ratios can be obtained. I have other characters with these kinds of big gaps. The fail safe for the point system to not draw too many points from private high levels when beat by low level warlords also enables the low level warlord to build these amazing records.

The one I am most proud of right now is my storm 12 who I got to warlord (all solo) 58-2 :D only had commander boots by the time I got to warlord 904 and those who play low with a storm understand the dynamics and challenges. Recieved full gear in 12 losses. A couple of epic battles on the way up.

97 wins, 103 losses. According to my math, that would be 48.5%.

Correction: Got my last post wrong. The number of wins and losses are correct, but not overall ratio. Redid the math just now, corrected my first post.

Fire Level 80 record- 343-194, Warlord
Myth Level 10 record, 56-0, Commander (I get like 3 points a game lol.)

Um, yeah, my rank is pretty bad. 7 wins, 18 losses. I don't know how to do ratios (I'm a kid, anyway!) but probably the reason i lose a lot is unfairness ( Such as a mastermind vs. me or even a savior of the spiral) and my health ( The best way to win is to stack up blades and traps and use a kraken after that. I don't know tempest, though I do have the quest.) I usually use my Hoard of the Hydra clothes, which give me healing current and snow drift. ( I don't have boots yet ) So right now i'm probably bad at PvP, but who knows? once i get sirens ( A LONG TIME from now) i'll be killing like CRAZY! WOO! XD lol

926 wins 556 losses but I am level 70 and most of my losses come from disconnects and grouping with wizards with little or no skill.

I'm thinking that everyone should convert the percents to decimals to get the right answer.
If you have over 1 (1 itself is okay because if you lost 0), you should recalculate, for it cannot go over 1. Divide the amount of wins by the wins and losses COMBINED.

Example (I do not have this): 60 wins, 40 losses. 60 / 100 = .6, therefore my W/L rate is .6

Example (my real): 0 wins, 1 loss. 0 / 1 = 0, therefore my W/L rate is 0, but if I were to win one, it would become 1 / 2 = 0.5, and my W/L rate is 0.5

Incorrect.
Win-loss rate (ratio or decimal) is Wins/Loss

What you are thinking about is win %.
You have 60 wins, 40 losses. 60/100 = .6
Move the decimal over twice, you get 60%.

Let me use the simplest explanation as to why yours is not correct.

If you have more wins than losses, why is the decimal below 1? It should be 1.5,should it not? You win 1.5x as many wins compared to losses. 60:40 = 1.5:1 or 3:2.
3:2 is the equivalent of 1.5.

I hope that made sense.

Ratios can be compared part-to-part or part-to-whole, it is simply my opinion that PtW is better.

Oh ya, currently I am 69-23 on my level 5 ice. (15 of those losses from fizzles, other 8 were fair..)

So thats 3:1 or I win 75% of my fights. I will update once he has roughly 500 matches done ._. Which means in a while xD
