While getting a Talent at each pet Age above baby is nice, it would make pets more useful if they get a Talent at Baby also so that at Epic they have 5 Talents and 4 Derby Powers.
Either that or a pet could unlock a TALENT for every 250 Battles the pet is with us for :)
