there aren't any rules.
There's a help section in your spell book. Just log into your character, open the book, click the question mark tab, then click the pvp icon on the top of the pages. you'll find 5 pages explaining pvp and a list of rankings.
But there aren't any rules.
In practice, the rules are what you set up with the other team if you don't choose random.
In ranked, the only rule is don't die. If the game allows something, there's no rule against using it. If it's a glitch and you know you're not supposed to use it, however, use it at your own risk because KI might delete people that knowingly use glitches.
