What is the best level 50 life gear to get if you want health and good critical stats?
Level 50 gear does not have critical stats, or if it does it is almost useless because of what you have to give up. Malistare's robe is the best in it's class for level 50. The other best gear (no auction) is dropped by various bosses in Dragonspyre and is not especially easy to come by unless you farm them for it. You can find a list of the gear at wizard101central.com in their equipment guides section. IMO unless you have the gear already it isn't worth farming anymore (except maybe malistare's dungeon for the robe, ring and athame) since you can level up so fast in WT or CL. You can get by with the gear available at the Bazaar. In general, grab a new wand at level 55, and then level 56 is the next best level for major equipment upgrades.
