Well actually i think that maybe they could make quests where you have to grow certain plants. Here's a couple ideas:
Dandelion Garden Given by Farley Plant Dandelion Harvest Dandelion Harvest Elder Dandelion Turn in to Farley Reward: 700 gold, Frosty Garden Gnome*, Pink Dandelion seed
Snap Dragon Festival Given by Charley Plant Snap Dragon Harvest snap dragon Harvest elder snap dragon Turn in to Charley Reward: 750 gold, Miniature Bloodbat (new gardening treasure card that is in wyvern hoard pack) treasure card, Sandy Boom Shroom*
*Frosty Garden Gnome is just a light blue garden gnome in winter clothes. Sandy Boom Shroom is a level 4+ seed.
