Problem - Quests will not load

I'm currently in the Tree iof Life dungeon. I've beat the Death Oni, however, the side quests will not load. I see Oakheart, a side characer, but there is no yellow question mark above his head. I've tried logging out and logging back in for the last two days, still no luck.

Anybody else had this problem, and any advice on what to do?

Here is the quest chain for Mossback/Oakheart. Make sure you have completed the previous ones before you seek out the later ones.
