Right now the only bug removal skills for gardening are huge areas and take lots of energy. However even when you have a lot of plants in the same spot, you rarely get bugs on all of them. I've got a small plot right now with just three plants, and normally it's just one of them that gets bugs, but I still have to use a bug spray skill that covers the largest possible area and costs a lot of energy instead of being able to target just the plant with the bugs for a reasonable energy cost.
Please consider adding small versions of them to match the small and medium area versions of the various spells like water, sun, magic and so on.
