i dont think its fair were paying 10$ a month and still have to pay for crowns atleast give us a chance to get free ones like put where the end boss of high level places have like a .1-1% to drop some i dont think ill be a member for long its pointless to p2p for a game and still have a item mall

As we have repeatedly, and repeatedly stated, every item that can be purchased with Crowns is also either available for gold, or as a drop from creatures in the Spiral. There are, of course, exceptions, and these exceptions are those that shortcut the game such as henchmen, elixirs and other services.

plus, crowns are something you have to buy with real money. if anything drops them they lose their purpose.

KingsIsle is a business. Since it doesn't have any in-game 3rd-party advertising, its revenue comes from sales.

KingsIsle chose to use a dual-revenue system of subscription and item-mall (Crowns). Many games of this quality are charging $15 per month. KingsIsle charges $10 per month, and that can be lowered to $7 on a family plan, $6.67 if the $80 annual plan is chosen, and $5 if they offer the $60 annual plan special.

To make up the difference, KingsIsle uses an item-mall, which is what the Crowns system is. The game can be played without any Crowns items; they're a luxury, and luxuries cost money.

Sorry what about certain mounts like swiftshark mount nobody drops them and you can't buy them for money in the crown shop? Please clarify.

Mounts also shortcut the game. Wizards travel faster on mounts.
