My nephew and I started playing Wizard 101 at my place and my parents' before the UK servers were started. He now wants to install the game at home and continue using the account I have subscribed to. However, when he goes to www.wizard101.com, he is redirected to www.wizard101.co.uk. He can then only download the UK client.
I use Firefox so I haven't come across this problem until I investigated this. I have discovered this redirection happens with IE 8.
Is there anyway to point the UK client to the US servers? Can he download the US client with IE please? How can he continue using the US forums?
It will be too difficult to get them to install Firefox so that isn't an option.
