Hey guys, I've been thinking and I would like to suggest some new "types of quests". Especially one in particular. I would like choice quest where you can either choose a side and become Part of their organization.

For example: In mooshu once you get the emperors sword off of war oni, a goat monk, a samoori, and a ninja pig are outside the entrance, they explain to you that they're impressed with your work and would offer to mentor you in the way of either. Samooris, ninjas, or monks. When you decide you go up and choose the one. So lets say I pick a ninja, the ninja would train me and make me proove myself and once I become a full ninja, It would be cool I could get armor that would benefit me for being a ninja. (And a cool badge maybe)

Another cool type of quest would be escort/helping npc quest. This is where lets say watson or sherlock bones in marleybone would help you in the investagation in big ben. Literally help though. They would follow you and cast spells and interact like a henchmen or minion would just an npc thats part of a questline.

Just a suggestion :)

Your first idea is kind of interesting, and easy to implement. Since the creation of moon school, polymorphing has become a staple of game play.

What does this have to do with your concept? Well, imagine after completing said side quest to join the monks, you get a monk polymorph spell (similar to the Ninja Pig polymorph spell). Now you can become a monk anytime during the battle. With regards to gear, maybe a special shop opens up for you to purchase monk gear or it can be a special drop item. Anyway you look at it its pretty easy. My only question is would you be able to join more than one? Could you join both the Ninja and Samoori? I don't know if KI has a way of locking out specific quests nor do I know how hard that would be to do.

In response to your other suggestion, you are referring to a henchman that follows you in the game. Now, I could possibly see this working in an instance (dungeon), but why would they do it? I mean, why would KI give out a free henchman when they cost crowns to use?

I like the npc suggestion. I like the different mooshu options also. Maybe make in optional and they could polymorph into the monk, oni etc. Might be something for the legendarys to do if they they don't have anything to do.

Ok I like the idea of the polymorphing that idea would be very cool, as if choosing another faction I'm not to sure about that in the example I gave because (correct me if I'm wrong) I don't think ninjas and samoori's get along and monks disagree with fighting I think . Another thing since Monks don't agree with fighting maybe once you become a full monk you could get a extra mana bonus along with bonuses from the other ones. Also there is other places along the game where perhaps you could choose I mean it would be cool if you could choose per world to get exclusive gear that you would have to work for :)

As for the second, I mean it would work exactly like henchmen I mean they would only work for that dungeon and for the level range but I mean like I don't like it how they follow you but they don't exactly help with anything so I mean maybe they could be a little weaker than henchmen but it would also help with the fluff.

My Quest Type:

Have no good or no more quests in your log, try repeatable quests.
They are quests that can be done over and over again, but gives low experience.

Example:
Name: Grendelweed Rush
Character: Orn
Goal: Collect 10 Grendelweed
Reward: 125 xp, 5 gold
Can be done 5 times per 24 hours.
